To go with everything else, Brad Hompe has made sure he has plenty of education in his background. Consider; He now has a Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice and psychology, which he earned at Winona State University in Minnesota. He also has a Masters in Public Administration (MPA), he obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. If that’s not enough, he also has done the work to receive certifications in law enforcement from both Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and from Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota. He also has a certification in Firefighter I, which he received from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, Wisconsin.
All of that is in addition to his considerable corrections experience. These days, Brad Hompe is currently a Corrections Complaint Examiner and Investigator for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC), but that is just the cherry on the sundae of his career. In fact, by now he has worked at nearly every level of the corrections system on his way, including his time as a prison warden and at every step along the career ladder. He started as a corrections officer, before being promoted to sergeant, a lieutenant, a captain, a unit manager and a deputy warden along the way.
